The only active program in the Construction Department is the “Construction Technology Program. The program consists of five academic staff. Thanks to the projection devices, the students are taught at the upper level of visuality in our classrooms. In our application workshop, major soil mechanics experiments can be carried out. An important part of the building materials are still in our workshop. Seminars are presented by the personnel coming from institutions that are experts in their fields during the term. Evening Classes are held between 15:30 and 21:20.

The objective of the program is to train Construction Technician in line with the mission and vision of the program.

Our mission is to educate qualified technical personnel who have the ability to design the projects required for the construction of new systems required by the construction sector, to ensure that the productions are manufactured in accordance with the relevant standards and earthquake regulations, to perform all kinds of productions in construction sector in accordance with the technique and who have the experience to control and can work in public and private sector.

Our vision is to train Construction Technicians equipped with contemporary knowledge of national and universal culture and have the leadership qualities. They are able to convert science and technology for the benefit of our country and humanity and know thinking,learning, searching, questioning and compete in the international arena.

The Program of Construction Technology started education within Kırklareli Vocational School in 1980-1981 academic year. The school continued education in 1982 by connecting the Trakya (Thrace) University. In 2005, the program continued education with the revision. It has been maintaining education within The Vocational School of Technical Sciences with the establishment of Kırklareli University.

Construction technicians are able to work in building constructions including dams, roads, airports, housing and so on, firms providing supervision services, state or local governments.

Our students are able to do internship in the company undertaking the construction works, concrete plants, cement factories, architectural offices, building control companies, public establishments (KGM,DSİ,etc.)

The students are able to transfer to Civil Engineering and Architecture with the exam ‘DGS’.
